The Bloomington Crime Prevention Association (BCPA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary focus is to raise money for community based crime prevention programs.  We are best known for our annual fundraiser, the Book'Em Used Book Sale, one of the largest used book sales in the Midwest, usually held in early June each year.

We are very pleased to announce our 2015 Book'Em Sale! The sale will be held June 6 through June 20, 2015 (preview sale June 5) at a new location, 1901 W American Blvd in Bloomington, MN (former Home Valu site).  The sale site and book drop sites will open the first week of April, click here for more information on donations or download sale flyer here. Your donations are what make the sale possible so start bagging up all those books you read last year!

Grants and annual funding totaling $87,500 were awarded from the proceeds of the 2014 Book'Em Sale. Thirteen awardees were chosen from the large number of organizations requesting grants.  Bloomington National Night Out, Cornerstone Advocacy Service and the Northern Star Council Juvenile Diversion were a few of the groups receiving grants. For a detailed list of the 2014 grants please click here.

We hope you will consider becoming a member of BCPA. Your tax-deductible contribution will help further our crime prevention efforts and also includes some perks for the Book'Em sale.
