The Bloomington Crime Prevention Association (BCPA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary focus is to raise money for community based crime prevention programs.  We are best known for our annual fundraiser, the Book'Em Used Book Sale, one of the largest used book sales in the Midwest, usually held in early June each year.

The first week of our 2015 Book'Em sale has been very successful! The sale continues through Saturday, June 20, 2015 at our new location, 1901 W American Blvd in Bloomington, MN (former Home Valu site).  We are no longer accepting donations but are working on getting all the merchandise out on the sales floor.  There are still lots of books, cds, dvds, records, games and puzzles waiting for your purchase! For more information about our sale, please download the sale flyer here.

Grants and annual funding totaling $87,500 were awarded from the proceeds of the 2014 Book'Em Sale.  Thirteen awardees were chosen from the large number of organizations requesting grants.  Bloomington National Night Out, Cornerstone Advocacy Service and the Northern Star Council Juvenile Diversion were a few of the groups receiving grants.  For a detailed list of the 2014 grants please click here

We hope you will consider becoming a member of BCPA. Your tax-deductible contribution will help further our crime prevention efforts and also includes some perks for the Book'Em sale.
