Sponsors of  Book'em Used Book Sale

The Bloomington Crime Prevention Association (BCPA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary focus is to raise money for community based crime prevention programs.

We are best known for our annual fundraiser, the Book'Em Used Book Sale, one of the largest used book sales in the Midwest.

            CANCELED ~ 2020 Book'Em Used Book Sale ~ CANCELED

Due to the global novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, BCPA was forced to cancel the 2020 Book'Em Used Book Sale.   Thank you for your understanding and past support.  We look forward to seeing you in the future.  Going forward our goal is to have a 2021 Book'Em Used Book Sale.  We will remain cognizant of how this pandemic plays out and make plans when appropriate.  Please check back in early 2021 for the status of the 2021 Book'Em Used Book Sale.  If you planned on donating books this year and can store until next year that would be great.

BCPA is now accepting applications for a limited number of grants to be awarded in November, 2020.   The due date for application forms is September 30,2020.  If you are interested in applying for a BCPA grant please fill out Grant Application Form.  If you are applying for a grant and have received a grant in a prior year, completion of a

Grant Report Form is also required.

An alternate way to support BCPA crime prevention initiatives is to become a
member of BCPA. Your tax-deductible contribution will help further our crime prevention efforts and would include some perks for the hopefully 2021 Book'Em sale.
